Chennai, Dec. 30 -- Three more fishermen from Tamil Nadu were arrested by the Sri LankanNavy while fishing in the high seas near Neduntheevu today.
The incident comes close on the heels of three fishermen by the Lankan Navy on December 28,following which Chief Minister M K Stalin wrote to External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar urginghim to take urgent steps through diplomatic channels to secure their release along with the boatsand convene the JWG meeting between the fishermen associations of both the countries to finda lasting solution to this vexatious issue.
