Shillong, Sept. 23 -- Three more dead bodies, including that of a mother and her one-and-a-half old son, were recovered from Tihiang River in remote Warsan Lyngdoh area under South West Khasi Hills district in Meghalaya on Wednesday, bringing the overall toll to four in the tragic accident in which a jeep was swept away, police said. The surging waters of Tihiang River on Tuesday morning swept away a jeep carrying eight people that was trying to cross over to the other side of the river as the bridge over the river collapsed several months ago.
