Imphal, Oct. 31 -- Security Forces have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition and arrested three active militants in a series of operations carried out across Bishnupur and Imphal East districts.
In an operation conducted yesterday at Laisoi Karong Kajin area under Keibul Lamjao Police Station, Bishnupur district, the forces recovered one .303 rifle with a magazine, one 9 mm MP9, two double-barrel guns, 41 rounds of ammunition of different calibers, two stun shells, one rubber tube, two T-shirts, and a pair of hunting boots.
On the same day, an active militant was apprehended from Tronglaobi Makha Leikai, Ward No. 6, under Moirang Police Station, Bishnupur district. The arrested person was reportedly involved in the recruitment of new ...
