Mahabubabad (Telangana), July 4 -- Three people were burnt alive after two lorries collided and caught fire on National Highway 563 near Kudiyathanda in Maripeda mandal of Mahabubabad district in the early hours of Friday. According to police, the fatal accident occurred past midnight when two lorries - one transporting granite from Vijayawada to Gujarat and the other carrying fish meal from Warangal to Andhra Pradesh - crashed into each other. The impact of the collision led to both vehicles bursting into flames. By the time fire brigade personnel and police reached the spot, the blaze had engulfed both lorries.
