Balrampur, Sept. 2 -- Three people were killed and two others injured when an SUV, attempting to avoid a sudden oncoming motorcycle, lost control and plunged into a roadside drain today in Balarampur district of Uttar Pradesh, police said.
The accident occurred near Narkatia village in the Kotwali Dehat area.
According to reports, five people from the Utraula area were travelling in the SUV towards Bahraich for medical treatment. The vehicle had just reached near Narkatia village when a motorcycle suddenly appeared in front of them. In an attempt to avoid a collision, the driver swerved the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and fall into the Suav drain.
