Kannur, Feb. 11 -- Three persons were killed and five injured when a motor bike collided with an auto-rickshaw at Varam on Sunday late night.
The deceased were identified as Akash Ashokan (19), Arjun Srinivasan (19), both hails from Vattapoyil near Eachur and Prakash (55), a resident of Iritty who were riding on the motorbike.
The auto-rickshaw driver M Joli (45) suffered serious injuries. The other injured identified as Sonu Balakrishnan (19) of Eachur, Manoj (45), Sahtyan (57) and Vijesh (27), all the three hailing from Kiliyanthara near Iritty.
The injured were admitted to Pariyaram Medical College hospital and a private hospital.
