Bareilly, Oct. 18 -- A tragic road accident in Bareilly today claimed the lives of three people and left ten others seriously injured.
The collision occurred when a high-speed van collided head-on with a bus on the Barheypura-Bisalpur road in the Bhuta police station area.
The impact was so severe that the van was completely mangled, trapping several passengers inside. Rescue operations, involving emergency services using torchlight and cutting equipment, continued into the wee hours to extricate the bodies and the injured passengers.
The deceased, all passengers in the van, have been identified as Rakesh, Gaurav, and Jitendra, all residents of Khadeva Khurra village in Pilibhit district.
