New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- Three juveniles have been taken into custody by police for their alleged involvement in sexually assaulting a minor boy, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the juveniles were apprehended within 24 hours of the crime and have been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
"The matter came to light on Tuesday, when a relative of the victim lodged a complaint," said Nidhin Valsan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central District).
Adding to his statement further, he said the complaint stated that the minor was lured by three boys to a secluded rooftop, where he was allegedly sexually assaulted.
