Bahraich, Jan. 28 -- Three people riding a motorcycle were killed in a tragic road accident late Tuesday night in the Hardi police station area of Bahraich district. The accident occurred near Kalyanpurwa crossing on the Bahraich-Sitapur highway when a speeding dumper hit the motorcycle from behind, police said on Wednesday.
The impact was so severe that all three riders were critically injured and thrown onto the road. The dumper driver fled the scene with the vehicle after the collision.
The deceased have been identified as Manoj Kumar Bajpai (55) and his son Himanshu Bajpai (19), residents of Fulwariya village, and Ansar (25), son of Bakridi, a resident of Babhanouti Shankarpur.
