Lucknow, Nov. 30 -- The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has arrested three active drug traffickers in Lucknow and seized 550 grams of illegal heroin valued at approximately Rs 1.5 crore in the international market. The operation was conducted in the Vibhutikhand police station area.
Acting on a tip-off, the Gorakhpur ANTF unit, with the assistance of the Vibhutikhand police, intercepted an Ertiga car on Shaheed Path near the BBD Viraj Tower on Sunday.
A thorough search of the vehicle led to the recovery of heroin hidden inside, following which all three occupants were taken into custody.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Anas (24) and Nasir Ali (55) of Tikra Usma village under Jaitpur police station in Barabanki ...
