Taipei, Aug. 6 -- Taiwan's Supreme Prosecutor's Office has detained three people in connection with a leak of data on semiconductor maker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Taiwan's Central News Agency (CNA) reported.
The Nikkei Asia newspaper reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that TSMC had fired several employees for violating rules on obtaining sensitive information related to cutting-edge chip technology and had initiated legal action.
