Kannuaj, Sept. 21 -- A sleeper bus carrying over 50 passengers rammed into the rear of a truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Pachore village under the Tirwa police station area yeaterday night.
The impact was so intense that the truck climbed onto the divider, and the bus overturned.
Moments later, a speeding car also crashed into the bus from behind, worsening the situation. The accident claimed the lives of three individuals, including a bus helper and an MBA student, and left more than 35 others injured.
Of these, 15 passengers are reported to be in critical condition. One passenger suffered the traumatic loss of both legs in the crash.
