Badaun/Rae Bareli (UP), Aug. 12 -- Three people died in a road accident yesterday night on Badaun bypass while one person was critically injured, police said, adding the deceased included a revenue officer (Lekhpal).
The accident occurred when a speeding car hit a gate near the ARTO office. Police said the deceased Lekhpal, Raja Saxena (35), was a resident of Kalyan Nagar in Badaun and was returning from a birthday celebration with three friends.
