Ranchi, Nov. 7 -- The three-day South Chotanagpur Regional Police Sports Competition commenced on Friday at the Police Line, Kanke Road with great enthusiasm and ceremonial fervour.
Police teams from Ranchi, Lohardaga, Simdega, Khunti, and Gumla districts are participating in the event, showcasing their physical strength, endurance, and teamwork through a series of sporting competitions over the next three days.
The event began with a march past by players representing all five districts, followed by the formal inauguration by Ranchi Zonal IG Manoj Kaushik, Ranchi SSP Rakesh Ranjan, and the Superintendents of Police of Simdega and Khunti, who jointly released balloons and white pigeons to mark the opening of the games.
