Mahoba, March 26 -- A tragic road accident on the Mahoba-Banda National Highway claimed the lives of three people on Thursday morning after two trucks collided head-on and caught fire near Munderi Mod, about 3 km from the local police station area.
According to police officials, the accident occurred when a truck loaded with gravel, travelling from Kabrai to Banda, attempted to overtake and crashed into an empty truck coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased have been identified as Suresh Pandey (55), the driver of the gravel-laden truck, and Suraj Nath alias Sadhu, along with cleaner Sunny, who were travelling in the empty truck.
All three victims were reportedly trapped in the vehicles and burned alive as the trucks caught fire...
