Agartala, June 17 -- Three boys, including two teenagers and one minor, drowned while bathing in a pond on the premises of Agricultural Research Centre in western outskirts of the city on Tuesday. The victims were identified as Bobby Shukla Das (17), Shubham Dev (17) and Shubhjit De (15). The incident cast a shadow of sorrow over the entire locality. Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha also expressed grief over the incident and said, "I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of three young boys due to drowning.
