Motihari (Bihar), Jan. 1 -- Police on Thursday arrested three Bangladeshi nationals along with an Indian accomplice from the Haraiya police station area near the Indo-Nepal border in Motihari of East Champaran district.

Police Superintendent Swarn Prabhat told UNI here that foreign currencies of four countries worth over Rs 36,000 were recovered from the possession of the arrested persons. He said the arrests were made jointly by the East Champaran police and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) during a checking operation.

Prabhat said that the Bangladeshi nationals have been identified as Md Shahinur Rahman, Md Sobuj and Md Firoz. An Indian citizen, Md. M.L. Sarfaraz Ansari, who allegedly helped them enter Indian territory illegally, was also ...
