Agartala, Oct. 29 -- Tripura Police in plain clothes detained three Bangladeshi nationals from the West Chandrapur area under Dharmanagar in North Tripura today.
According to police sources, the trio had illegally crossed the Indo-Bangladesh border about six months ago. With the help of brokers, they first traveled to Bengaluru, where they reportedly paid Rs 5,000 each, a total of Rs 15,000, to obtain fake Aadhaar cards.
After staying in Bengaluru for some time, they moved to Kolkata and several areas in North 24 Parganas district, where they spent around three months before returning to Tripura, said police.
Police said that upon their return, the three took shelter at the house of a local broker named Islam in the West Chandrapur area....
