Chennai, April 7 -- In a tragic incident, three people--a woman and her two
grand children--died of electrocution at Andarpuram village near Moganur in
Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu on Monday evening.
Reports received here said Selvam, involved in cotton farming, has taken his
wife and two grandchildren to the farmland where a fence was erected with
an adjoining an electric post.
When Selvam's wife inadvertently touched the fence, without knowing that
power from the electric pole was passing in it, she suffered serious shock.
Her two grandchildren held her hand and they too got electrocuted.
All the three were taken to a government hospital in an unconscious state,
where the doctors declared them brought dead.
