Nalgonda, Oct. 2 -- Three persons, including a nine-year-old boy, drowned in the Dindi stream at Devaracharla village in Chandampet mandal of Nalgonda district on Thursday.
Police said the boy, identified as Sai Umakant (9), accidentally slipped into the stream and was swept away. In an attempt to rescue him, two youths-Raju (30) and Bharat Kumar-also drowned.
On receiving information, police reached the spot and, with the help of swimmers, recovered the bodies of all three.
