Patna, July 12 -- Security was tightened at the Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna following an alleged bomb threat via email. Official sources at the Airport said here today that the threat sparked a high-level security alert. The threat was directly sent to the airport director's official email ID, claiming the airport would be blown up. According to sources, CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), local police units, bomb disposal squads and dog squads were deployed and conducted thorough checks across the airport premises.
