Hamirpur (HP), Dec. 15 -- Under the state government's anti-drug campaign, approximately 10,000 people, including students and youth, are expected to participate in the mega walkathon organised by the Himachal Pradesh Police in Hamirpur on Tuesday.
HP Chief Minister and Nadaun MLA, S.S. Sukhu, will lead similar walkathons in Shimla and Dharamshala.
To ensure smooth traffic and proper arrangements in Hamirpur city during the event, the police have made special preparations, SP Balbir Singh informed during a press conference.
The SP stated that the mega walkathon, led by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, will begin at the grounds of Shaheed Captain Mridul Sharma Memorial Boys Senior Secondary School.
