Lucknow, Feb. 13 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday announced that the pension of destitute women in the state will be increased very soon, and said those who oppose Vande Mataram have no right to stay in this country.

Yogi said, "In Uttar Pradesh, we are providing pension to 1.06 lakh destitute women. Currently, we are giving them Rs 12,000 annually".

"We have decided to increase this amount very soon. State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will announce Mahashivratri," the CM said.

The announcement is seen as a sop by the government in view of the 2027 assembly polls.
