Los Angeles, Jan. 5 -- Thomas Dekker and Alyson Gorske have been cast in "Artichoke", a visually driven, giallo-inspired short film that also marks a notable creative collaboration with Anna Lou Castoldi, granddaughter of Italian horror icon Dario Argento, who will serve as both narrator and executive producer.
Gorske, recently seen in "Obliterated", leads the film as Cynara, a woman ensnared in a brutal and psychologically corrosive relationship. She will be joined onscreen by genre vet Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles).
Amir Moini, a former comms manager at Netflix, Chief Marketing Officer at Fangoria and current Tubi Director of Executive Communications, is directing the short, his second after Screamfest film "Sl...
