Pune, Dec. 26 -- The third edition of the National IP Yatra 2025-26 concluded in Pune on Friday, with senior officials and industry experts highlighting the growing role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in strengthening India's innovation ecosystem.

A key takeaway from the two-day programme was that IP filings by MSMEs have risen by nearly 40 per cent between 2021 and 2025, reflecting increased awareness and participation from the sector, according to Abhay Daftardar, DFO Mumbai, Ministry of MSME.

Speaking during the concluding sessions of the event, organised by the AIC-Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum with support from the Ministry of MSME, Daftardar underlined the critical contribution of MSMEs to India's economy.
