Kolhapur, Jan. 2 -- Devendra Fadnavis has said that the state goverment will not impose Hindi language in the state as long as he is the chief minister.

Fadnavis also assured that the government will not interfere in literary institutions of the state.

Fadnavis, made these statements while addressing the inauguration ceremony of 99th All India Marathi literature convention as a chief guest.

The convention is jointly organised by Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Pune Branch Shahupuri and Mavla Foundation Satara, at the historic Shahu Stadium. On the occasion Fadnavis published 'Atkepar' souvenir, which is based on the history of Satara.
