Ranchi, Dec. 8 -- A theft has been reported at the Maa Durga Temple located under Daladali OP here, where miscreants targeted the idol of the deity late last night.
According to temple authorities, the thief entered the temple premises and stole the ornaments adorning the idol of Maa Durga. Chaos prevailed in the temple on Monday morning as soon as the incident came to light, with devotees expressing shock and anger over the desecration.
Following a formal complaint lodged by the temple management, Daladali OP police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
