Hyderabad, Dec. 27 -- More than a year after a stampede at Sandhya theatre during the premiere of the film 'Pushpa-2', Hyderabad police have completed their investigation and filed a chargesheet in the case. Actor Allu Arjun has been named among 23 people in the chargesheet.
The incident occurred on the night of December 4, 2024, during the premiere when a stampede broke out, killing 35-year-old M Revathi and leaving her nine-year-old son Sritej, critically injured.
Allu Arjun has been named as accused No. 11 in the chargesheet.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar on Saturday said that after a comprehensive and detailed probe, the chargesheet was filed before the court on December 24.
