Srinagar, July 29 -- The encounter that led to the elimination of three Pakistani terrorists -believed to be responsible for the Pahalgam attack - was over within minutes, with security forces neutralizing them swiftly and decisively, security sources said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah earlier in the day announced that three Pakistani terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba involved in the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack were killed yesterday in Dachigam near Srinagar. The operation, codenamed 'Mahadev', was the culmination of a two-month-long intelligence and security effort, he said.
