Sabarimala (Kerala), Dec. 23 -- The ceremonial procession carrying the Thanga Anki (golden attire) to be adorned on Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala for the annual Mandala Pooja commenced at 7 am on Tuesday from the historic Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple.
The Thanga Anki, presented to Lord Ayyappa by the Travancore Maharaja, will reach the Sabarimala Sannidhanam on the evening of December 26, where it will be ceremonially received and adorned on the deity, followed by Deeparadhana the same evening.
The Mandala Pooja will be held on December 27 during the auspicious time between 10.10 am and 11.30 am, with the deity adorned in the Thanga Anki.
