Thane, May 5 -- : A devastating road accident took place at Vaishakhare-Tokawade on the Kalyan-Ahilyanagar highway, claiming the lives of four people on the spot, while four others sustained serious injuries. The injured include two children, who are currently undergoing treatment at a nearby government hospital.
The accident occurred when an ST bus travelling from Vitthalwadi to Ahilyanagar collided head-on with a Scorpio SUV near Vaishakhare bend in Murbad taluka. The bus had departed from the Vitthalwadi depot for Ahilyanagar at around 8:30 am today.
