Thane, Oct. 17 -- The Thane Municipal Corporation has appointed 25 more employees permanently under its succession appointment process, comprising one Class-III and 24 Class-IV employees.
Since January this year, a total of 300 employees have received permanent appointments in the corporation through the scheme that allows successors to take over positions after their deceased or retired parents or relatives. All employees expressed joy at receiving their appointment letters ahead of Diwali festivities.
