Imphal, Aug. 7 -- A delegation of Thadou community which arrived here on Wednesday for the first time after the May 3, 2023 crisis continued to hold talks with people and representatives of various organizations.
Thadou Inpi Manipur, President James Thadou and Vice-President, Lal addressing the media here today said the team was overwhelmed by the response from the people of Manipur specially Meitei people.
For more than two years the Thadou tribe could not the valley areas due to the crisis, he added.
He appealed to all organisations of Manipur to support the peace initiative and expressed hope that peace will return to Manipur. The team will stay for a short period hence the delegation wants to move to other places to interact with t...
