Mumbai, Oct. 12 -- Ahead of the civic polls in the state specially for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation election, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray visited Matoshree, the residence of Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray, and had a lunch together this afternoon, stirring fresh speculations about a political alliance between the two cousins.
Raj Thackeray was accompanied by his mother and other family members. He described the visit as a personal one.
"It's a family meeting. My mother is with me," Raj told media persons as he entered Matoshree.
But for political observers, this was much more than just a casual lunch.
