Mumbai, Jan. 4 -- In a major political development ahead of the 2026 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray on Sunday jointly unveiled their alliance manifesto titled 'Shivshakti', marking a formal reunion of the Thackeray cousins after nearly two decades.
The manifesto was released at a press conference held at Shiv Sena Bhavan, a venue that witnessed Raj Thackeray's return after almost 20 years. Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut was also present during the announcement.
