Mumbai, June 7 -- Senior Maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Vadettiwar said on Saturday that
the Congress welcomed the reported coming together of Thackeray brothers -- Shiv Sena head Uddhav and MNS leader Raj.
"There are talks going on about the brothers getting united. If indeed their objective is to oust the anti-Maharashtra government in the state, we welcome it," said Vadettiwar.
"Why are the ruling allies afraid of the Thackeray brothers. Why are they upset by the news of their alliance", he questioned.
He said the 2024 assembly elections in Maharashtra was like match-fixing, "the truth of what exactly happened in election has been revealed by leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi".
