Mumbai, Dec. 27 -- BJP leader Navnath Ban on Saturday cliamed the Thackeray brothers joined hands fearing defeat in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections.
"The people of Mumbai stand with the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Mahayuti due to the rapid development taking place in the state. Because of Mumbai's dynamic development, there will be no place for the Raj-Uddhav family alliance," he said.
Speaking at a press conference held at the BJP state office here, Ban alleged that whenever elections approach, the UBT and MNS parties raise slogans in the name of Marathi pride, but they have done nothing for the welfare of the Marathi people.
