Hyderabad, Jan. 16 -- With the Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, Asia's largest tribal festival, scheduled to be held from January 28 to 31 at Medaram in Mulugu district, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced special arrangements for devotees wishing to offer ritualistic 'gold' (Jaggery) to the goddesses.
In a press release issued on Friday, TGSRTC said devotees from various regions traditionally visit Medaram to offer prayers to Sammakka and Saralamma, have darshan and offer gold. However, for those unable to travel due to various reasons, TGSRTC Logistics has prepared a plan to facilitate gold offerings from home.
