Hyderabad, Feb. 13 -- The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) has reaffirmed that all real estate projects which did not have an Occupancy Certificate (OC) or Completion Certificate (CC) at the time the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 came into force, fall squarely under its jurisdiction.

Hearing a complaint filed by allottee Sangeeta Singh against M/s Provident Housing Limited (Complaint No. 287 of 2024), the Authority issued strong observations on the conduct of the developer. TG RERA cautioned that allotment of flats that are under mortgage is impermissible and contrary to established real estate norms.
