Kolkata, Oct. 30 -- City based Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, a leading player in the Indian rail infrastructure sector, today announced that it has secured two major infrastructure contracts worth over Rs 78 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) and Central Railway.
It said the new contracts reinforces its pivotal role in advancing India's Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India missions.
The Rs 44.61 crore Maha-Metro contract covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems for the PCMC-Nigdi Elevated Extension of the Pune Metro. This includes a 25kV Flexible Overhead Catenary System, 25kV Sectioning Posts, a 33kV Auxiliary Sub-Station, and SCADA systems.
