Austin, July 7 -- Amid the ongoing row between US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk, the businessman's company Tesla is facing a bad time, with the automotive giant's shares tanking by 7.6% today, reports CNN.
While the company did manage to recover some of its shares, its stocks are still down by 6.5%, as Musk announced his intention of forming his own political party as a counter to the US' two dominant political parties - the Republicans (currently in power) and the Democrats.
The announcement did not go down well with Trump, who berated his former ally and confidant yesterday night.
