Mumbai, July 15 -- Tesla has formally launched its Indian operations on Tuesday with the inauguration of its first showroom at Mumbai's premium Bandra Kurla Complex.

The 4,000-square-ft experience center at Maker Maxity Commercial Complex introduces the American automaker to India's burgeoning electric vehicle sector, featuring the China-imported Model Y SUV as its debut offering.
