Jammu, Sept. 21 -- A gunfight broke out today between security forces and terrorists in Keshwan area of Kishtwar.
The Jammu based White Knight Corps in a post on X said, "Alert troops of White Knight Corps at around 1 pm today, while carrying out an intelligence based operation in general area of Kishtwar have established contact with terrorists.""Fire was exchanged with terrorists while the operation is in progress," it said.
On the night of September 19-20, one Army jawan was martyred and two police personnel injured in a gunfight in Seoj Dhar area of Dudu-Basantgarh on Udhampur-Doda border area when terrorists fired upon the patrol party.
