New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's 'Tere Ishk Mein' opened to an exceptional response, collecting Rs 15.06 crore on its first day at the box office.
The film was among the year's most awaited releases, serving as a spiritual sequel to the 2013 hit 'Raanjhanaa', which featured Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.
Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie released on November 28. Despite arriving on a non-holiday, non-festival date, the romantic drama has delivered an impressive opening.
Trade analyst Taran Aadarsh shared the numbers on Instagram, praising the film's strong performance across both urban centers and mass circuits.
