Hyderabad, April 1 -- Tensions prevailed at Hyderabad Central University (HCU) as a large number of students staged protests demanding protection of Kancha Gachibowli lands.
The protesters gathered at the main gate of the university, raising slogans and urging authorities to intervene.
Amid the unrest, leaders from BJYM, ABVP, and Left parties attempted to enter the university but were stopped by the police.
Police detained several protesters and shifted them to police stations, intensifying student anger against the Revanth government.
The situation remains tense as student groups continue to express their discontent over the handling of the land dispute.
