Shimla, Oct. 7 -- At least ten people are feared dead after a private bus was hit by a landslide in the Balughat area of Jhanduta subdivision in Bilaspur district on Monday. The ill-fated bus was reportedly carrying several passengers when it came under heavy debris following incessant rain in the region.
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed deep condolences over the tragic incident and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He said the state government stands firmly with the bereaved families and assured that all possible assistance would be provided to them.
