Pune, Oct. 14 -- Padma Shri Girish Prabhune, a renowned social worker, expressed the view today that temples are not merely places of worship but also serve as centres for social transformation.
His remarks came during the monthly meeting of the Hindu Spiritual Service Organisation, Maharashtra, held in Pune. The meeting was presided over by Krishnakumar Goel, with Prabhune attending as a guiding mentor.
Prabhune emphasised that it is essential to balance the pace of Sanatan work with contemporary needs, stating, "The union of organisational work and spirituality forms the foundation of societal transformation."
