Srinagar, June 13 -- Temperatures across Kashmir are expected to come down slightly by a few degrees from Saturday onwards, offering some relief from the prevailing heatwave.

However, the temperatures may remain a few degrees above the seasonal average, according to an independent weather observer, Kashmir Weather.

He said the forecast up to June 15 indicates predominantly dry weather conditions across most parts of the region, although a few isolated areas may experience thundershowers.

Between June 16 and 17, the weather is likely to remain mostly dry, with a possibility of a rain spell or thundershower activity in some areas, particularly in the Jammu region, which has been witnessing intense heat in recent weeks.
