Hyderabad, July 5 -- The death toll in the Sigachi Industries worst blast rose to 40 today after one more person, who sustained serious burn injuries in a massive blast on June 30, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in Patancheru.
The 51-year-old Mun Mun Chowdary, who had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital with severe burn injuries, succumbed to his injuries in the morning.
With his death, the toll at the chemical factory in Sangareddy has risen to 40.
Officials made arrangements to send his body to his native place after conducting the autopsy.
According to officials, 22 are undergoing treatment at different hospitals, of which 11 are in ICU, while another 12, who were admitted immediately after the accident, ...
