Hyderabad, Jan. 3 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday criticised remarks allegedly made by Communist Party of India (CPI) MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Telangana Assembly and demanded an unconditional apology.
In a post on social media platform X, Bandi Sanjay said the comments were inappropriate and had no place in a democratic legislature.
He alleged that the Speaker and the Congress-led Telangana government failed to intervene and instead allowed the remarks to pass, thereby undermining the dignity of the Assembly.
